Little Eli is such a sweet little guy, and I’ve been photographing him since he was in his mama’s belly. He’s so expressive, and has been since he was a newborn! His mama is one of my favorite people in the world to sit and chat with, I wish we didn’t both work so much! 🙂
This sweet family is leaving New Orleans for a new post for Mom and Dad, so we squeezed in Hayes’ 1 year session at about 9 months old (we did his 8 month studio session just a couple of weeks ago, that blog post is just a few down!). Since they loved their time here in NOLA, they requested the family session we do at the end of the Baby’s First Year package to be down in the Quarter. It was super-crowded and hot, but we got great shots and Hayes was in the best mood ever! He’s teething like crazy, so it was a toss up — but he was nothing but smiles! I will miss seeing him!!
Talking to mama…
Look at that dimpled hand!!! In LOVE!!!
Mr. Kieran is one of my Baby’s First Year babies, but moved to Chicago when he was about 4 months old. Luckily we got to squeeze his 8-month session in when he was in town a couple of weeks ago (I know, I’m WAY behind on the blog)! I went down to where they were staying in the Treme to take these pictures, and the location was perfect. Kieran is such a funny, sweet, curious, loving little guy. I love how he has those same dark, dark eyes and the same swirl of hair centered above his face as he did for his newborn session and his 4-month session. It’s so fun to watch babies grow! It amazes me how fast they can change so much.
These boys are each cuter than the last, and they were really fun to work with. The baby is a total flirt! He’s smiling and cooing every time I see him. His brothers love him to death, I literally had to tell them to stop kissing him for a minute for pictures! These guys were the Wizard of Oz family from my Halloween Event, so if you follow the blog and think they look familiar, that’s why! 🙂
These guys came down from Hattiesburg for their session in the French Quarter! I think it’s obvious who wears the pants in this family — Princess “B”, the beautiful blonde. Her big brother is so sweet with her, and totally patient as she flits from place to place like a butterfly. He had plenty of ideas himself about taking pictures, and the silly pic below is courtesy of him — I love it! I had so much fun with you guys, Vanessa — thanks so much for coming down to NOLA to see me! 🙂
