After a loooooong hiatus on the blog, we’re finally back! We’ve been SOOO busy creating beautiful portraiture for families since our last post in July, we got too busy to blog! So we’re hiring additional help so that we can manage it all. 🙂 The next few posts are going to let you in on all the new things going on at Olivia Grey Pritchard Photography! First off, you’ll see a new look to our site, blog, and marketing materials. We hired the amazing Katie Loerts of Katie Loerts Design to create a new interpretation of our brand. The most important thing I wanted the new design to convey were our standards of simple and timeless beauty and our commitment to excellence. I think Katie’s design beautifully illustrates these principles!
The new logo was just one part of the many new things we are doing at the studio to refine both our craft and the way we do business. We are committed to providing our clients with the highest quality images, experience and products, and we will continue to invest in every area to provide that. This year, we have invested in enlarging our studio space, a new continuous lighting system for the studio that newborns and babies prefer to strobe (flash) lighting, our new brand look, remodeling our studio viewing space, and an amazing private mentoring class with the world-renowned Julia Kelleher of Jewel Images. I traveled to Oregon to spend several inspiring days with Julia and some model newborns in Julia’s lovely studio so that I could bring back such timeless, beautiful studio newborn portraiture to the heart of New Orleans. More on that later! For now, please enjoy our new look and new logo!

Isn’t this guy SO adorable?! He prefers ice cream to sno-balls, but once he figured out the texture change, he got into the sno-ball. 🙂 I’ve photographed him since he was in his mama’s belly, and I can’t believe he’s so grown up already! His 2-year-old session is just around the corner!! I love his big smile, but he also has the most beautiful solemn face…check out the last heart-stopping image!!
Sweet Bella is TWO years old, and still one of my favorite kiddos ever! She can jump very high, and twirl, and RUN! She is very generous with kisses, and when she runs to me to give me a hug it melts my heart every time. I LOVE HER!!!
Little Eli is such a sweet little guy, and I’ve been photographing him since he was in his mama’s belly. He’s so expressive, and has been since he was a newborn! His mama is one of my favorite people in the world to sit and chat with, I wish we didn’t both work so much! 🙂

Beautiful Sareena and Zaina, twins born a year ago on my birthday, are one year old! They had a lovely party, complete with the Easter Bunny and an Egg Hunt, with all their little friends over to play in April. Big sister Ava was a big help in getting things ready, and the decorations (and food!) were to die for. Family was visiting from all over the world, which made things even more special. Happy Birthday, beautiful Sareena and Zaina!
Shiloh and Honey, the beautiful horses here, belong to some of my favorite little people on this planet. I have watched Kinley and Gardner grow from tiny babies into big kids, and while I hate that it’s gone by so quickly, I love seeing the people they’re growing up to be. I met Adalyn and Burke a couple of years ago through Kinley and Gardner. Since they are all the best of friends and both families got horses a few months ago, I squeezed this session into my schedule because I was so excited about seeing them and meeting Shiloh and Honey! I actually knew I wanted to do it as soon as I saw that they had gotten horses, and I called their mamas up to plan it. It was so fun, and I am IN LOVE with the images. 🙂
Preston was a big boy already at his newborn session at two weeks old! He and his brother both have heads’ full of gorgeous hair and beautiful dark eyes. Preston was super-hungry, wanting to eat every hour or so, but then his little tummy was hurting so it was quite awhile before he calmed down enough to sleep through the posed shots. But no worries, we waited him out! I took some photographs of big brother Gracen while Mama was walking around soothing the baby. And I love the pictures of the boys together, especially the one where it looks like Preston is talking to his big brother!
Grace, Isabel and Caroline are triplets, and they are quite the trio. They are so funny, and each so very different. It was FREEZING on this day, but they’re so busy we didn’t want to move the session date — so we literally had the car pulled up to where we were shooting, and while I did individual shots I made the other two sit in the heated car! I knew noses would start getting red and eyes would be watering after too long, so we moved quickly and the girls cooperated beautifully. They got a little hyped up (as 3 pre-teens usually do) and it was SO FUNNY when Grace, who is always in charge, got her sisters in line by saying, “Be a first-time listener!” while I was arranging them in poses. That was the first time I’d ever heard that, and it’s PERFECT! Their mom says they hear it at school. 🙂 Brilliant!
